Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
The benefit is to stabilize the patient and avoid hospitalization. We
offer intensive group therapy where we provide the individuals with the
tools which will assist them in maintaining the necessary quality of
life to the highest potential achievable by the individual. Mental
illness can become debilitating if not treated. Whether it is
depression, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia or other mental illness the
individual is presented with the coping skills necessary to acquire his
highest level of functioning possible. The group topics include;
Medication compliance, stress management, communication skills, coping
skills, anger management and psychotherapy process among others.
Patients are provided transportation by the center daily to receive
therapy and maintain a life free from hospitalization
Substance abuse
Dependency and substance abuse impact lives in many ways. Lives can
really become unmanageable. There are many levels of treatment that are
accessible to clients. Medication, individual, groups counseling and
meetings in the community are part of the treatment that is evaluated
individually according to the need of the person.
DUI / Substance Abuse groups
These groups are for clients that must receive counseling, ordered by
court or seek treatment for their chemical dependency problem.
We offer groups in English and Spanish, available during the day time or
the evening. Groups are offered several days a week, from Monday through
Friday.
Individual substance abuse counseling
Individual substance abuse counseling is offered by certified
experienced professionals. Patients in need of exploring in depth the
cause of the illness will be assisted in developing the necessary tools
that will make the road of recovery a successful one.
Individual Psychotherapy
In a therapeutic caring environment of trust a personal relationship
between client and therapist together they will explore the areas that
the client wants to improve.
Licensed Psychotherapists will help diagnose and develop an
individualized treatment plan with attainable goals. That progress will
be closely monitored by both the client and therapist.
Children and
Adolescents Therapeutic Services
Evaluations and treatment are offered by therapist specialized in ages 0
to 17 years old. Therapeutic approaches will be according to the
specific need of the child. Treatment plans and goals are developed with
the assistance of the child and parent.
Family Therapy
Couples communication sessions are offered to those who seek to acquire
the tools that will help them overcome the limits they confront in their
present communication style.
Better listening and talking skills are identified and practiced under
the supervision of a trained professional, using practical tested tools.
